Torque Solution Cylinder 4 Coolant Mod for Subaru EJ Engines was designed to increase coolant flow to cylinder #4 head area. The additional coolant flow helps reduce cylinder #4 coolant temps and keeps the temps more uniform with the rest of the cylinders. This helps reduce knock and detonation in cylinder #4, which is known to cause the dreaded EJ ringland failure. Keep your EJ happy by installing our kit. Quality was our #1 priority which is why our kit includes CNC'd billet aluminum head and T fittings along with a multi-layer silicone hose and stainless steel clamps.

    So disappointed in this product for almost $70 you think the company could’ve added an extra 3 inches of heather hose. My cylinder 4 mod heater hose was about 3 inches too short which I did not discover until I put the fittings in the block as well as off the water pump line to the heater core. Contacted the manufacturer no return email. Contacted Subie speed to see if they could split the cost with me to make a first time customer happy. They were unable to do that. Very disappointed I will be getting my parts elsewhere.
