2011 was an exciting year for the WRX as Subaru released arguably one of the best-looking models coveted by enthusiasts. Known as the GV, Subaru released a widebody version of the sedan and hatchback for the WRX, and the body features wide wheel arches for the rear, with wide fenders that match the aggressive front bumper. The result is an aggressive looking chassis that really encompasses the term, World Rally Cross. The 2011 also received wider wheels to accommodate the wider fenders and has a 2.5-liter boxer engine that makes 265 HP and 244 LB-FT of torque. This WRX loves all of the aftermarket attention with a sea of upgrades for every category including the engine, drivetrain, and suspension. But like all WRX models, this one will need an upgraded turbo inlet pipe such as the PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose that is made using durable multi-layered silicone construction. The Grimmspeed Air Oil Separator Kit will prevent harmful oil vapors from entering the intake manifold which can harm the performance, and GrimmSpeed Coolant Hoses will replace those weak OEM rubber hoses to maintain your coolant temps. These are must-do upgrades that your 2011 WRX needs, if not performed already.
