2014 would be the last year for the highly esteemed GR/GV WRX. And what a run it had as the aftermarket found a way to enhance virtually every aspect of this platform. This Subaru made plenty of power in stock form, looked great, sounded amazing, and was very attainable in the used car market. Aside from exhaust upgrades such as AWE Tuning Track Edition Cat Back, some of the best mods for these cars were a quality set of coilovers such as the Faction Fab FR-Spec slammed on a set of Volk TE-37 SL wheels. The GR wagon and GV sedan were aesthetically fail-safe from an OEM or heavily modded aspect, which meant that these were a top choice for those who had daily drivers, weekend show cars, or track-dedicated race cars. Subaru would have to swing for the fences to overcome this design, and to this day, the GR and GV never fails to arrest the attention of fellow Subi enthusiasts.
