Here is the mother of all F1 reverse lamps. The lamp to end all lamps. Function after function has been added and now we have the final edition OG lamp which looks like the original SubiSpeed F1 that hit the market years ago. However, now we also has an integrated blinking reverse lamp.
In this model the parking light is dimmer than the brake light. This is customary for US vehicles and gives the product an OE like feel. Both the brake and reverse have F1 functions. They blink before going completely solid.
Available in 3 different colors and comes with a plug and play harness.

Looks/Works Great!
By Matt February 20, 2023Got the smoke. Install was easy and looks great. The smoke allows you to retain a white reverse lamp and red when braking. The red lens will look red all the time so buyer beware!

Clean updated look
By Nick December 20, 2022Fitment was perfect and paired with the SubieSpeed rear tails, the rear lighting is sooo much cleaner.! Took about 20 min and minor tools to install.

Fresh look
By Nick December 20, 2022Scooped this up for my 16 EU spec STi… wasn’t sure how it would pan out since here we get the fog light from factory. Two routes were to cut/splice OR tap and piggy back off the existing harness… which is what I ended up doing. Since it is already wired for a fog light, the wiring harness was available, I just tapped and split off the existing wiring. Blocked off the OEM bulb socket and tucked it away. Install was a breeze and fitment was as good as OEM. The only hiccups was trying to see if I could have the “F1” brake light to actually be programmed as part of the brake system… which was unsuccessful. My impression is that it’s because it is an isolated lighting harness (compared to the wiring bundle that taps into the brake harness. Sooo… I have a fully functional OLM LED rear fog… which is all I was hoping for.

By Mr. X September 10, 2022I wanted something to make the rear end more visible in fog and white-out snow conditions where I live in the Rocky Mountains. This light went in very easily, and has functioned perfectly for about a year so far. I'd love to see a toggle added so the light could just stay full brightness in low visibility situations, but the lower intensity when not braking is still better just tail and 3rd lights, and the F1 mode for brake and reverse are really hard to miss. The included wiring harness just about idiot-proofs connections. Nice cosmetic upgrade with added safety benefits.

Easy install
By Axewax January 21, 2022The product looks great! The installation is pretty simple but you have to take off alot of parts to get there but other than that it's pretty easy. My only issue of watching the 2 minute video is that it's pretty out dated... I have a 2021 WRX and I could not install the wires on the driver side because something was already plugged in my driver side. I didn't check what it was for but it wasn't a big issue. With the plug and play, it makes it that much easier. Thanks Subispeed. Keep up the good work!

Great light / customer service

I contacted customer service and they made it right they help me troubleshoot it and insured that it was a defect. And they sent me out a new light and it looks fantastic on my car highly recommend.

Clean and easy to install
By Salz June 24, 2021Install went smooth, just tad different than the Youtube install video on the 2019 WRX, but still a very easy install. The new version of the light comes with the Plug and Play adapter and there are a few extra clips to take off. Highly recommended product.

Great
By Thefriendlyjerk June 12, 202110/10 would recommend. This is the perfect rear fog light for this car. You CAN disable the F1 function for both the brake and the reverse light, independently. Reverse light is like having a spot light assisting you. The plug and play kit makes installation easy (under an hour from start to finish, including clean up).

By Erik February 28, 2021Easy to install, you don't even need to take the bumper off or put your car in the air/on jack stands. It comes with a plug and play harness, so no need to order one separately. At the end of the day it looks great and functions extremely well.
