Four years after the release of the VA Subaru WRX, you more than likely have a COBB V3 Accessports, a cat-back exhaust system such as the Invidia Gemini R400 Quad Tip Exhaust, and a proper intake such as the COBB SF Intake System. But let’s start having a little more fun with this car. The VA WRX does have an inherent long shifter throw from the factory. But shortening the throw by installing an OLM Performance Short Throw Shifter, you reduce the shifts by as much as 32% making the shifts much shorter, quicker, and with a more precise feel. By installing an XClutch Organic Sprung Clutch Kit w/Flywheel, this makes for an excellent OEM replacement with an OEM-like feel, but it will hold the torque generated by basic bolt-ons.
