Construction

This system features an airbox constructed from durable black powder-coated aluminum. At the front of the airbox, a slot is thoughtfully designed to accommodate air channeled through the factory air scoop. The incoming air is effectively filtered through a larger, pre-oiled filter before being directed to the velocity stack MAF housing. To ensure a secure and leak-free installation, wire-reinforced black silicone couplers are fastened with clamps.

In order to maintain optimal airflow for improved performance while reducing turbulence, this intake system incorporates several unique features. These include a custom conical air-filter element, a CFD-designed velocity stack, and an innovative air flow straightener grid, all designed to smoothen the incoming air flow as it passes the Mass Air Flow sensor, ensuring precise readings. The one-piece, high-temperature plastic composite design not only shaves off weight but also minimizes heat transfer.
