NOTE:These are compatible with Diode's tail as turn harness. Instead of having an amber turn signal, you would use the inner red LEDs as a brake / turn signal.
NOTE: These are now Plug & Play (PnP). They also ship with load resistors to prevent hyperblinking. These units are outside of the casing to aide in preventing condensation build up.

Headlights and tail lights play a huge role in the overall look of the vehicle. While the WRX / STI have some great styling, the door was still left wide open for a more aggressive aftermarket solution. Original design cues from the headlamps were taken and incorporated into the design. These are factory plug and play units for the 2015+ VA platform*. They are wired for US spec vehicles.

Solid or Sequential Turn Signal
The SubiSpeed tail light has two options for turn signal operation. It can behave like a standard tail light with simple on / off lighting. You can also utilize the built in sequential turn signals. A switch built into the wiring allows a quick change from one mode to the other.
Tail As Turn Compatible
A popular question among our customers was if the tail as turn module was compatible (if you don't know what the tail as turn module is, please see the related parts links at the bottom). The answer is a solid YES. You can skip the amber turn signals and use the brake light as a turn signal. Everyone has their preferences and this allows for even greater customization!
SubiSpeed Installation Video
With the main harness being plug and play, install is easy and painless. Plan on re-using the factory bolts that hold your current tail lights! Includes hyperblink modules that also have a plug and play connector. These mount outside of the lamp to prevent added heat and condensation build up within the lamp.

All I gotta say is that I should have gotten these a long time ago. I got a 19 STI in CWP and got the clear lens with white led bar. It's one of the best things I've gotten for my car. They are very bright even in a clear day. Install was very easy. One thing I really like about these is that they have a switch to set the blinkers between sequential and blink modes, no need of messing with wiring.

Great to an extent
By Steven February 6, 2022They look amazing on my car, especially when off, the white bar goes nice with my white paint. However, with all after market lighting, the sealant is known to not be the greatest. In a way to prevent moisture from getting into the headlights, I filled the gab between the housing and the lens with clear silicone which took maybe 15 minutes and then a few hours to dry. Overall love them and would just recommend doing this do make sure they last.

Easy peasy
By Gonzo February 6, 2022The plug and play situation was by far the easiest. No splicing or taping it was hassle free besides popping out all the fasteners for the trunk liner. I’d say it was easy peasy and the OLM evolution taillights are great and mean looking. Easy peasy 10/10 recommend.

The quality of the product is top notch. Installing took me about 30mins. I see little gap after installing it but I can live with it. Back up lights are nice and bright. I love it!

Great Product
By Jake April 9, 2021Got these taillights smoked, with the white led strip, they look stunning on my car. Install took literally 15 minutes and i’ve never worked on my own car before so literally anyone can do it. The subispeed tutorial video on how to install them was perfect, only complaint is that my right taillight doesn’t sit as flush as the left one but it’s almost not even noticeable. Also the turn signal sound inside of the car (like that clicking noise when you put your turn signal on) was sped up a lot which i thought was odd but i’m sure there is a fix for that. Overall great product, came absolutely damage free and was packaged very well.

Beautiful and easy to install

They're absolutely beautiful and really easy to install, and I absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for new taillights. If you're using stock wiring, you'll need to use the resistors that are included, I didn't at first and definitely had some hyperblinking.

By Kurt November 26, 2020These lights are excellent quality and if you think they look good on the website, they are awesome in real life. Easy installation, work perfectly. Note for RHD (Australian STI). At first the lights were not working correctly. This was because although the plug is compatible, the arrangement of the wires from the subi lights in the plug are different to the location compared to the OEM plug. Easy to fix, I used a terminal removal tool($15 from eBay) to simply remove some of pins/wires from the plug and reposition. Took 5 min, after that the lights work perfectly.

By Tags September 2, 2020Way better looking on my silver sti than the all red oem lights. Included resistor is straight plug comes with 3m tape. No drilling required to mount. Super easy install. 20 mins top. Will have to wait till summer is over to see if condensation is a problem.

Great addition to my WRX
By Kyle August 30, 2020I have a red WRX and the stock tail lights just are bland and blend into the car. These tail lights add dimension to the rear of the car with the black accent and make it look so much better. I purchased the clear lens, black housing, red bar and couldn't be happier. The installation was easy and seemless. I did have to use the included hyperblink load resistors for my car,but that was just as easy as the taillight install. I highly recommend these and look forward to many miles of use of these.
