STILLEN has decided to step into the Subaru WRX performance market with our performance cold-air intake system. They replace the restrictive factory air box with a genuine K&N reusable hi flow conical air filter. Replacing the factory airbox and intake tube STILLEN is able to achieve a gain of 30 wheel horsepower.
The filter sits behind a laser cut, CNC formed, lightweight aluminum heat shield. The purpose of the shield is to keep the cold air entering through the factory intake duct into the area surrounding the air intake. This creates a cold air path which helps to achieve the 30 horsepower gain.
During development of the 2015 Subaru WRX cold air intake STILLEN utilized one of our team members vehicles for the durability and data acquisition testing. After thousands of miles of trouble free driving we are confidently able to say that the STILLEN FA20DIT cold air intake will not set any check engine lights.
