GrimmSpeed StealthBox Cold Air Intake
This is the GrimmSpeed Stealthbox Cold Air Intake System designed to improve the performance of your vehicle. This system is a direct replacement of your factory restrictive intake and features a smooth intake tube fabricated from quality aluminum materials that limit air turbulence under boost. The result is improved throttle response with more horsepower, more torque, and you get that aggressive cold air intake noise under acceleration. The intake tube also has a precision MAF fitment provision which also includes an extended MAF harness to reduce the risk of stretching your wires.
Also included in the GrimmSpeed Stealthbox is a heat shield designed to keep those hot engine temperatures away from the filter so that the filter breathes in as close to ambient temperatures as possible. Both the heatshield and the intake tube will come powder-coated a nice red finish to provide a clean look to the engine bay and to have extra protection against rust and corrosion.
The GrimmSpeed Stealthbox will also come with weather stripping, high-temp silicone hose, and hardware to make this part ready for installation.
INSTALLATION NOTE - Take care to install the air filter onto the intake tube properly. Push the filter onto the tube no more than 1" before tightening the clamp. This will ensure that the velocity stack within the filter is allowed to function properly!

Warning
Nothing I say is the fault of Subispeed or Grimmspeed, I want to make that clear. While the intake itself is great, the increased airflow will require a tune otherwise you will be running lean and losing power. Due to the EPA being anti freedom activist the Cobb Access port no longer has support for this, leaving open source tuning as the only option for using the product. So unless you intend to make a large purchase to make the price of open source tuning worth it, I would not buy this product. Cobb does have support for their own intake however i cant speak on the quality of that intake. The build quality grimmspeed put out is great and for the moments you aren't running lean the intake sounds great. It looks mean under the hood but unfortunately if you were hoping to do modest mods this is not your option as i had to go back to stock to keep my car running smoothly.

Satisfaction- Very happy with my new GS Intake. For the most part it fit great, it looks good, and makes cool noises. Reason for buying- I purchased this intake over others because I wanted the filter to be completely covered with a shield. Its also better on the wallet then all the others. Fitment- only fitment issue i had was the MAF harness. After intake was in the problem I had was the shield was squishing the MAF harness. It took some messing with but pay attention to it. Over time this definitely could've caused an open on MAF circuit. Noise- Intake can be heard inside and outside of the car. Honestly it can get annoying because anytime you're above 3k rpms it makes noise. When driving you definitely have some cool factor or can easily flex on someone real quick. Roll up on them above 4k and shift as soon as your next to them. Intake noise can absolutely be heard by other drivers. Its pretty loud but not that loud if you catch my drift. It depends how much throttle and rpms you're giving it. You can drive the car in a way that you never hear it. Overall- Easy install, pay attention to MAF harness, makes great noises, looks great in engine bay, high quality parts, Grimmspeed Support is great.
