The Details

The factory rubber post-MAF hose uses corrugated folds to allow flexibility during installation, but those same folds create pockets that interrupt airflow. Worse, the OEM design often creates diameter steps between the airbox outlet and turbo inlet, generating small vortexes that disturb the air right after it passes the MAF sensor.
