Clutch Masters FX200 Clutch Kit - 2015-2017 Subaru WRX

The FX200 System uses the Power Plus I Pressure Plate and a Steel Backed Kevlar disc. This clutch is designed for the street enthusiast or weekend racer. The FX200 offers similar torque rating and holding capacity as the FX100, however, its life expectancy is increased with the Kevlar disc. Our Kevlar friction material is non-abrasive and doesn't score the mating surfaces. It features only slightly increased pedal pressure, significantly longer life than stock, and normal clutch feel during engagement and disengagement for the smoothest operation of any stage we offer. Minimum 500 Required break in miles has added an exhaust system, an intake system, up to 50hp NO2 upgrade, or other simple external bolt-ons. Rated at 335 ft/lbs of torque. NOTE: Subaru has incorporated 240mm clutch components into production during mid-2018MY production starting with VIN J*806877. Clutch kits and flywheels are not compatible with the revised OEM components.

All stages come as a complete kit including disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot bearing (when applicable), and alignment tool.

*Organic/ Kevlar/ Formula Button Clutch kits are expected and tend to have a higher life expectancy than OEM, however not guaranteed. Improper Installation, Driving style, performance upgrades, Break in procedure and light weight flywheels will effect and have a role in determining the life expectancy of the clutch kit.

High-Leverage Pressure Plate

The Clutch Masters High-Leverage pressure plate provides an increase in clamping force while still maintaining a soft pedal feel. The High-Leverage design reduces the amount of load against the crankshaft, minimizing thrust bearing wear, and crank walk. Clutch Masters begins with a OEM genuine pressure plate and incorporates our signature High-Leverage technology in order to achieve maximum clamping force without having to compromise pedal feel. Clutch Masters High-Leverage technology has been proven to be the best method of achieving a high clamping force in the clutch industry.

Performance Disc

The Clutch Masters performance disc utilizes a high dampening 4 spring carrier to reduce the amount of shock and impact during engagement. A variety of materials are available to ensure you have the best setup for your application and to best suit your needs. Marcel or “cushion” is also incorporated on Clutch Masters performance disc to reduce chatter and offer a smoother engagement.
