Like most turbocharged vehicles, the Ej comes from the factory with a compliant intake system that is restrictive and will become a roadblock especially if you perform other modifications where the power potential would be blocked by the restrictions by the factory intake. Because of these reasons, a good intake system will always be one of the first modifications. The COBB Tuning SF Intake will allow your turbocharger to breathe in a larger volume of air to be much more responsive while developing more power and torque with a proper tune. To maximize the performance of this intake, it will come with an intake box to protect the filter from hot engine bay temperatures, and with a post-MAF hose to transfer the air without any obstructions.
