This is a common add on for aftermarket stereos. Use when your vehicle is equipped with a factory Harmon Kardon system.

RCA to Speaker Wire Quick Connectors

This 4 pack of quick converters allows you to easily convert RCA outputs to unamplified signals for your factory Harmon Kardon amplifier. Simply strip the factory speaker inputs for your HK amplifier and insert them into these. Plug the RCA wires into your new aftermarket stereo's Front Left, Front Right, Rear Left, and Rear right outputs.

The reason this needs to be done is that the HK amplifier requires unamplified signals to correctly process audio and output clear audio.

NOTE: You will most likely need to connect the power signal wire to your amplifier to a 12v accessory power wire or AMP CONTROL wire from your stereo. This will ensure it turns on when the radio is on.
