We all love a good weighted shift knob for the smooth and direct feel they offer to the shifting experience. The biggest issue that we have found with many heavy-weight knobs however, is that they get extremely hot in the summer and cold in the winter due to their steel bodies. We have found that engineering plastics like Delrin are much better at reflecting heat and staying cool to the touch, but don't have the heft of a steel knob. 

The Overtake ModKnobs are a perfect combination of the positive aspects of both materials, without any of the drawbacks. Our kit starts with a sleek 303 stainless steel base that is then mated to a Delrin handle. We utilize a single bolt to secure these two parts together, along with an O-ring in a dedicated groove to prevent the parts from rotating independently during installation and use.
