    Product Description

    IAG-ENG-L600-N-N

IAG 600 FA20 DIT Long Block Engine w/ IAG 600 Heads

IAG 600 FA20 DIT Long Block Engine for 2015-21 Subaru WRX

    DROP IN AND DRIVE

The IAG Performance hand-built 600 FA20F (DIT) Long Block Package is a complete, valve cover-to-valve cover, timed crate engine designed for a true drop-in installation in 2015-2021 Subaru WRX applications. These long blocks combine a proven IAG short block and cylinder head package with race-proven components to deliver a plug-and-play solution. All components are BRAND NEW and there is NEVER a core charge required.

SOLD COMPLETE, TIMED & READY TO INSTALL

Every IAG 600 FA20 Long Block is sold complete with all new timing components pre-installed, making the installation process straightforward and minimizing timing-related risks during assembly. This is especially helpful on FA20 engines, which have a more complex timing system than many Subaru platforms. Most installations can be completed in a day.

    BUILT WITH 100% NEW COMPONENTS

The IAG 600 long block is built to support up to 600 BHP applications. The FA20F (DIT) short block begins with new Subaru FA20 engine case halves modified for improved oiling, bored and honed to 86.1mm using precision in-house equipment, and assembled with a new Subaru FA20 WRX crankshaft matched to high-performance ACL or King race main bearings. Upgraded IAG-Spec H-Beam connecting rods with ARP2000 rod bolts and forged JE FSR 86.1mm pistons complete the internals for enhanced strength and performance.

    FORGED RODS & PISTONS

To overcome the known weaknesses of OEM FA20 connecting rods at higher torque levels, the IAG 600 features IAG-Spec H-Beam rods and ARP hardware. This upgrade provides greater reliability under increased cylinder pressures. Each short block also includes high-strength JE FSR 2618-alloy pistons with an asymmetrical skirt design for reduced weight and improved combustion characteristics.

IAG 600 FA20F (DIT) CYLINDER HEAD PACKAGE

The 600 FA20F head package uses brand new AW20 WRX OEM head castings. These are machined with multi-angle valve jobs, deck resurfacing, and ultrasonic cleaning before reassembly. Performance components include Kelford dual cylindrical valve springs with titanium retainers and new GSC Viton valve stem seals. The head assembly also incorporates Kelford 264-EZ camshafts for a broader power band and improved driveability.

    COMPRESSION RATIO

The IAG 600 FA20 DIT Long Block features a 10.6:1 compression ratio on standard gasket thickness, optimized for balance between performance and reliability in boosted Subaru FA20 applications.
