This version is built around the factory short shift shifter, so the whole package is matched to that specific shifter geometry rather than requiring separate compatibility checks. Together, these three components tighten up slop in the shifter assembly caused by the factory's soft rubber bushings while letting you set shifter throw and feel to your own preference. That's the kind of detail that separates genuine engineering from a basic replacement part.

Addressing the Whole Shift Linkage at Once

The COBB Front Shifter Bushing is a direct replacement for the soft rubber bushing found at the anchor point of the shifter assembly, made from 95A durometer urethane and eliminating the side-to-side compliance that causes a vague shift feel. The Rear Shifter Bushing, made from 85A durometer urethane, is the final piece of the puzzle, reducing both side-to-side and front-to-back compliance at the back of the shifter assembly. Both bushings include everything needed for an easy installation with simple hand tools. It's a small distinction that makes a real difference once you're actually using it.
