Compatibility and Design

The WRX / STI 75 MM Drive-By-Wire Throttle Body is a direct factory replacement, specifically designed to work only with the stock TPS cover and servo motor from the original bolt-on unit. It is compatible with 2004.5–2014 STI models equipped with a drive-by-wire throttle body. This unit ensures hassle-free installation while maintaining proper functionality through the reuse of OEM electronic components.

 

Kit Features and Performance Benefits

Each 75 MM throttle body kit includes a stock manifold adaptor plate, a 60 MM hose adaptor for use with factory intake piping, a 75 MM hose adaptor, and all necessary mounting hardware. Precision CNC-machined from billet aluminum, these throttle bodies are available in natural aluminum, red, blue, and black anodized finishes. The larger 75 MM diameter delivers nearly a 56% increase in cross-sectional area over the stock throttle body, resulting in improved throttle response and a modest horsepower gain even on stock setups. When paired with larger 75 MM intake piping, this upgrade unlocks significant performance potential, while maintaining Boomba’s high-quality standards and warranty backing.

 

This Throttle Body will only accept stock TPS cover and servo motor from factory BOLT ON unit.
