Enhanced Gauge Overview

AEM’s 30-0302 X-Series Temperature Gauge delivers precise water, transmission, and oil temperature readings for high performance vehicles, packaged in a sleek and easy-to-read design. The center LED display is significantly larger than earlier versions and surrounded by a sweeping green LED “needle,” allowing temperatures to be checked quickly at a glance.

Display, Mounting, and Customization

Although the display area has been increased, the gauge still fits a standard 2-1/16" (52 mm) pod and uses an extra-slim housing, making installation possible in tight spaces. The gauge comes standard with a black bezel and black water temperature faceplate, while an optional accessory kit adds a silver bezel plus additional transmission and oil temperature faceplates in both black and white.

Controls and Integration Features

Each faceplate is double sided with Fahrenheit on one side and Celsius on the other, and switching between standard and metric units is handled using the front buttons. These buttons also control peak/recall, LED display mode, and warning thresholds, while the integrated CAN-bus compatibility and 0–5 V analog outputs allow seamless connection to modern ECUs, data loggers, and engine management systems.
