Cobb Engineering for the GD WRX/STI

The Cobb Tuning Pitch Stop Mount - Subaru Models (inc. 2002+ WRX / STI) for the 2002-2007 Subaru WRX/STI is a direct-fit upgrade developed by Cobb Tuning as part of their comprehensive platform-specific lineup for the GD WRX/STI. Every Cobb product for this platform is engineered around the factory fitment points and validated on Cobb's own development vehicles — the result is hardware that installs without modification and performs as intended from the first drive.

Platform-Specific Engineering — Not a Universal Fit

Cobb designs every product for the specific platform it covers — not as a universal part adapted to fit. The GD WRX/STI version of this component accounts for the factory geometry, mounting points, and clearances specific to this model year. That means correct fit, correct function, and no compromises from a part designed to fit many cars at once.

Part of the Cobb Ecosystem

This component is part of Cobb's broader product lineup for the GD WRX/STI. Cobb designs their hardware to work together — intake, exhaust, drivetrain, and accessory components are all developed with the same design language and fitment standards, making it straightforward to build a cohesive setup from a single manufacturer.

About Cobb Tuning

Cobb Tuning has been developing performance parts and tuning solutions for Subaru vehicles since 1999. Based in Austin, Texas, Cobb built their reputation on the Accessport — the most widely used Subaru ECU tuning device on the market — and expanded that into a full ecosystem of intake, exhaust, drivetrain, and engine bay accessories engineered specifically for the platforms they support. Every Cobb product is developed in-house and validated on their own test vehicles before it reaches customers. Subispeed carries the full Cobb catalog because their engineering standards and platform-specific development process consistently produce parts that work exactly as advertised.
