Needs a decent amount of assembly, not hard with the instructions included (booklet is japanese and english). You will need to drill a hole into the OEM air funnel, you can see it in the photo on the left side in front of the intake. it includes some sponge tape that you will attach to the shield to keep it from vibrating, you might want to put the extra ones on the other corner of the same side. It opened up the sound of the turbo to now i can hear the blow off, its really cool! the intake looks pretty cool with the HKS shield as well, very happy!
