Invidia Gemini Exhaust System

This is Invidia's newest addition to the 2013+ FR-S / BRZ / 86 exhaust lineup. They already produce some of the most popular exhaust systems for this platformI. Their designs result in an excellent free-flow exhaust system with optimized back pressure, giving greater horsepower, torque gains and a rich deep sporty sound. The use of SUS304 polished stainless steel piping, mandrel bent to shape, state of the art CNC machine made flange, robot TIG welding and double wall polished stainless steel or titanium tips, provides outstanding durability and appearance.

  1. Great exhaust for a DD.

    I bought the car with a Tomei R80 on it. It was way too loud for use as a daily driver. This exhaust is perfect. It has a nice purr to it that’s audible but not overpowering. The videos are a good representation of how it will sound though in my experience the decibel volume of the exhaust was a bit lower than I was expecting. Which is just fine for myself.

  2. This is the perfect exhaust especially if you live in California

    I was nervous buying this exhaust in California because of not hearing it in person. I was scared of it being too loud and I would be nervous driving my car around. But that is not the case. This catback is not too loud but also not too quiet. The videos on this exhaust is very accurate and a good representation of what is expected if you buy it. I would recommend buying two adjustable exhaust hangers for the two hangers on the right side of the exhaust. Without those two adjustable hangers the right side will be higher then the left side. With some adjusting with the new two hangers I got it to fit perfect and aligned very good. I was so glad I bought this exhaust. It has a deep aggressive tone without drone. And it looks amazing as well. Definitely worth every dollar too me. I'm sure too anyone that wants a sporty deep tone without rasp and isn't loud as well.

  3. An Aggressive Looking Exaust With a Great Tone

    So, the great things about this exhaust are the look and the sound. The tone is rich and aggressive and compliments the FA20 engine very nicely. The sound is not loud by any measure, but it is very bold and can be heard from down the block during regular driving/startup. Definitely for the driver who wants louder than the OEM muffler, but is still quiet during idle. If you want to go for loudness, go for Invidia's N2 or N1. It took just under an hour using a 14mm socket and wd-40 for removal of my stock exhaust and install of the new exhaust. Not a difficult install, but I had trouble getting it to sit straight horizontally. you just have to be patient and adjust it little by little as you tighten it down. Overall, I am very happy with this exhaust. It is perfect for my wants and needs. I am glad I went with this catback as opposed to the other ones offered by Invidia.

    Things I love: the sound. You buy a cat back for its sound and this things rumbles so beautifully that I just want to drive it non-stop. You should go for this piece of you like a mature low rumble that never gets too loud. The youtube videos of this exhaust are pretty accurate. There is no rasp and barely any drone at any speed. It looks great too. I was worried the muffler would hang down too much and look unsightly but it sits fine and gives the car nice aftermarket touch from behind. Things I dislike: apparently it's a common problem (on other exhausts too) that the tips are difficult to align. My passenger side tip sits too high compared to the driver side. After some finagling I was able to make it passable, but if you get down you can still see some uneven hanging. The tip thickness leaves some room to be desired as well. I like the thickened tip walls of some other exhausts whereas these are thin but large, which you can see in pictures. Overall, I love the exhaust and it accomplishes exactly what I was hoping for.
