Fitment Isn't Perfect, But Close Enough

Had these on my 2015 WRX Limited. They come off easy enough, but you'll notice the fitment isn't 100% perfect. I'd say it's more something you'll get used to over time. I ordered another set for my 2020 STI just because I really do not like the chrome lol

Look nice, but overall fit is a little off

These look really nice and add a nice pop of flare, but I had a real issue getting them to stay on. I properly cleaned and prepped, but after install, the 3M tape just wouldn't stick. I'd come out in the morning and they'd be half popping off. Subispeed actually sent me a second pair thinking maybe their was an issue with them. Same thing happened. I ended up using extra3M tape and they seem to be ok now, but they don't sit exactly flush like OEM. Overall they are ok, but I'll prob end up replacing them at some point to try to get a better fit.

It's one of the smaller things to change but it makes all the difference. The only complaint I have is that the fitment isn't perfect, they stick out a little too much.

Meh overall

I liked the look of the gloss black with red inlay for the WRX, I've had these for 5 months on the car and the red has completely faded to white. The fit is a bit off and the stick out much further than the stock emblems.

Fitment is a pain if you have any OCD

I’ll get to the point, if you want this to fit like OEM, it won’t so don’t buy it. They stick out off the normal position about 2-3mm more than the OEM fender emblems just because the curves are not molded perfectly. The end towards the door is flared outward instead of being perfectly straight and mine personally the color is great but the fitment really ruins it for me.

The install was super easy but once on the fit isn't quite right on my '16 wrx. I notice that the bed doesn't sit flush at all so its pops a tad out. Otherwise the quality and look of the product itself is really good.

This is my second set of these emblems. First for my WRX and then now for my STI. They look amazing however, the emblems do not sit flush with the car. I spent some time even heating it up to bend it some more and with no luck it still didnt work. So I give it a 4 out of 5. The badge will hold with what is attached but still. 1 suggestion is to maybe have them bent a little more out of the factory.

Not worth it

The badge doesn’t sit flush and pops off with supplied adhesive. You will need new adhesive and plenty of heat to get these to go on. The edges of the gloss black version are rough and it’s overall a cheap piece. I would not buy these again if I had a second chance. I will be buying new ones from a different brand.

Either the Plastic is warped or the thin 3m adhesive is very weak. Both sides the part next to the door is not flush and you can see the 3m is pealed off. I could just pull it off with my finger very easily if I wanted too. Going to look for better adhesive. You will need a heat gun and a plastic pry tool.

Nice looking

Looks awesome but my pieces don’t fit very well. They seemed warped so the adhesive is not strong enough to keep the piece flush. I am going to try warming the plastic up a bit to see if I can warp it back and try a thicker adhesive.

Love the look of the matte black but… they don’t fit as well as the stock chrome ones did. Isn’t super noticeable unless you are looking directly down while standing up, other than love the way they look!

I've tried

These come in a very nice clam shell foam lined box great quality looking emblems however... they fit like crap... I have tried every which way to make them them stay on flush short of heating them up and re-molding them to the body lines. They keep popping off so I've given up and am just modifying the oem emblems. I've tried new 3m tape, I've tried doubling up the 3m and, personally for the price I'm not taking a heat gun to them just to make proper fitment while they bulge out still. Maybe it's my batch but, personally everything I've bought from you guys has been awesome besides these which should probably be taken off the site due too seeing this is a common issue.

Looks good, but the fit is slightly off. Looks like they are barely hanging on… we will see how they hold up. The tape is extremely thin and when I peeled the coating off the tape starting coming off the emblem itself

Horrible - Avoid

Like everyone else I had fitment issues. They are not curved the same way as the stock emblems so don't sit flush. Had to remove them and reinstall using 3M tape. Even then they don't sit flush. ADD to that, 6 months later the paint is fading and disintegrating. Now I have to paint them over by hand. Not worth the money or time

Factory defect

The passenger side emblem fits fine, however the drivers side is not shaped correctly. It is slightly bent outward and will not sit flush and depending on what side of the emblem I push on, the opposite side sticks up.

So Close to Awesome

Like a few others said, I couldn't get mine to fit well, lay flush like the OEM ones. Maybe there's a trick to it, but I was disappointed, and ended up plastidipping my OEM ones and these are going unused.

Horrible fitment but they do look good

The badges themselves look good but the fitment is horrible compared to OEM. I originally used the 3M that was already on these badges. By the next morning both of the corners closer to the front of the car started to pop out of place. I took both of them off and reapplied my own dual sided adhesive to see if they would stick now. Both corners started to pop out again after sitting in the garage overnight. I’ll prolly just put the oem back on since these do not want to stay seated.

Don’t order these unless you want them to pop off over time or, like mine did, immediately. The double sided tape does a fine job sticking to the car but struggles to stick to the emblem itself. Also, when comparing the stock emblems to these, the Gcs emblems have less of a curve to them.

Look great, but faded fast

The emblems were easy to install and fit nicely. The neon green matched the 2018+ STi calipers pretty well and they looked great. However, about 10 months into them being on the car, almost all the coloring in the letters has faded. Much like another reviewer stated, it happened almost overnight.

Meh

They look nice instead of the stock chrome emblems but the fit is not great. They stick out about a quarter inch from the panel and the adhesive is weak. I ended up peeling off the adhesive that came with it and adding my own.

Fitment Issue

The set of emblems I received did not match the curves of the OEM emblems causing one side to pull up. Had to reapply using my own 3M tape and got it on but it doesn't sit flush with the fender like the OEM ones did so I can't recommend this product. I eventually decided to just buy OEM gloss black emblems and those fit perfectly and even had the weather stripping on them!

Buy the all black emblems or inlays. These fade over time.

Bought these 2 years ago and similar to other reviewers the red color in my WRX emblems is very faded. I'm not going to spend $32 every year or two to replace faded emblems. There's no reason for this to happen and the manufacturer needs to fix this. I bought red and black front and rear emblems and installed at the same time as these fender ones and those aren't faded at all. When you spend hard earned money on brand new aftermarket parts, they should last more than 2 years if you take care of your car.

Great while color lasted

Really a great product. Remove the old emblem, new double sided 3m tape and you're good to go. My complaint is its been a few weeks shy of a year, and the color in the emblem(purple for mine) is almost completely faded, pretty disappointing tbh.

Looks good but Fitment is Off

These emblems looks good and the install is easy but the only problem with them is they don’t line up with the outline that well and stick out about 1/4 inch wide.

Install/quality is not so great

I ordered the gloss look with the red wrx lettering about a week ago from you guys. I don't know whether or not I just got unlucky with what i got or the quality is just crap. When i opened the box i noticed on the drivers side emblem had what looked like a defect on the top middle edge portion of the emblem. I said to myself well i guess i have to work with this. When it came to the install the double sided adhesive tape was so bad/thin it wouldn't stick. On the drivers side emblem where the wrx lettering was kept popping out, and even on the passenger side too. Mind you i did clean the surface before applying. Now back to the drivers side emblem, when i went to apply some heat on to the emblem to heat up the adhesive to have it stick better the upper middle side with the defect dried up the gloss wrap or coating so fast that now it looks like it got burnt with some cracks. Mind you i never left the heat on the emblem for more then 5 seconds then applied pressure, and i also did it in intervals. I applied a little heat to the passenger side emblem and it was ok, kinda. So since the emblems were not sticking to the car i had to take them both off and buy my own adhesive tape and apply it on both back sides of each emblem. Before removing the tape I needed to apply some force to the to the back of the new emblem with the newly applied adhesive. Once i applied some pressure i proceeded to remove the red back that was on the tape. After, i set the emblem on the ground and heated up the adhesive before putting it on the car. That seemed to work really well but the drivers side fitment is still kinda off. The passenger side is better. I will upload a photo of my drivers side emblem below.

Looks very good in place of the stock chrome, does not fit into place well, I don't know if the plastic warped in transit from heat or what, but on the right side of the car the back part of the emblem doesn't sit flush like the other side. I removed it and replaced it ensuring a flat surface and that the emblem was not warped but all in all it ended in the same result.

Look great but...

I got the gloss black with neon green to match the brake calipers and they look great. Once I put them on, the next day I noticed both emblems starting to come off. They kept popping out of place. I took them off and compared them to the OEM and noticed that the curves on the OEM were a bit more aggressive. To fix the issues I had to remove the very thin pre-applied tape that comes with the GCS emblems and used 2 layers of 3M tape. Seems to be holding on for now. Other than the fitment issue they look great and give the car a cool new look.

Got these a few months ago and I love them. They fit great and look awesome too. Definitely a nice small touch that makes a big difference.

Its such a subtle item but makes a world of a difference. fitment was great, not perfect but great. brought the car together very well with the matching color to the calipers. definitely worth it. highly reccomend

Got a set of these in Neon Green, to match the brake calipers, color is just slightly off, but not noticeable, and really stands out. Install was easy. Very happy with them!

Really loved the way it changed the look

I was completely happy until about a month ago when the color started to change. My navy blue is now a washed out powder blue almost white. I didn't expect that to happen. It was brought to my attention by a friend who admiring my car.

Touch Of Detail

I purchase the STI fender emblems in gloss black and they look really good. My car is white and they just set the car off by adding these emblems. Just that right touch of detail when seeing my car against other STI's. I highly recommend this product for anyone wanting to just separate your car from the rest.

Great Looks, Poor Quality!

Loved the product and how it looked, but they do NOT last. About a year, with what I've experienced. The red in my 'WRX' logo is completely faded away. It seemed to happen overnight.

Worth it

Taking off the glue was quite easy. Hair dryer and floss. Fit perfect.

Looks Much Better!

Taking the stock ones off with a little heat was easy. Placement and fitment were perfect. Looks much better than the flashy stock ones and gives it nice detail with the color choices.

Easy install...looks sweet

Great buy. Stock emblems came off easy with heat guy and a plastic pry tool. Keep the foam backing warm and roll up with your finger; came right off. Clean area well, little heat on both the backing and the car; press into place and hold for a good minute. Damn border charges are expensive though. Would recommend.

Great way to personalize your car

This was one of the first things I did to give my car a personal touch. I'm not the biggest fan of chrome on a white car so I needed the stock fender emblems to go. Didn't take long at all to install and it really made a huge difference in the look of the car. I have a picture of mine on my Instagram (Chadwick_WRX) if anyone wants to take a look at a white WRX with matte black on gloss black emblems.
