TurboXS 3" Catted J-pipe / Intermediate Pipe
Front Pipe (J-pipe) with High Flow Catalytic Converter for your 2015 Subaru WRX. So you want to get more power from your WRX but you still want to keep a Catalytic Converter on your car? Look no further than the TurboXS Front Pipe with High Flow Cat.
The TurboXS Catted Front Pipe for your 2015 WRX is one of single best power adding modifications you can do and still keep the planet happy.
Turbochargers work best when there is large pressure and temperature differential across the turbine wheel. Having a large, free flowing downpipe is what give you that large pressure and temperature differential. The downpipe tapers to 3" towards the tail and even includes a pre-welded 02 sensor bung for installing an aftermarket wideband O2 sensors. OEM style doughnut gasket enhances flexibility, durability and sealing as opposed to lower quality flex joints.
Features include:
- All 304 Stainless Steel Contruction
- 3.5" at the turbocharger tapering to 3.0" at the exit to the catback exhaust
- 12mm thick flanges
- High Flow Catalytic Converter
- Hardware includes: J-pipe to mid-pipe gasket, Mid-pipe to Catback, Turbo to J-pipe gasket NOT included. Factory gasket can be re-used.

nice looking but comes with problems
Installation with 2~3 people. When fitting front catted part on turbo, unable to seal it to the mid pipe when tightening regardless of how much force from the back end of the mid-pipe. Had to remove "high flow cat" part from turbo, semi-tighten it to the mid pipe making hanging on the turbo very difficult as maybe the welded on flanges were slightly off at manufacture. Had to use a Help! 15" grounding strap from Advance due to this j-pipe does not have the ground strap bolt bung and factory strap not reaching it original bolt hole on the frame and the mid-pipe bolt(s).. The included hanger had to be bent an additional inch back as the mid-pipe frame hanger on the pipe was more than inch back from where it is supposed to be to hang from the factory point. The biggest frustration is that now I have a permanent P0420 code. Very unhappy with the installation, fitment and combined with the Tomei Expreme TI, cold starts are extremely loud though idles out after a couple minutes. Included nut and bolt hardware stretched on install and had to be replaced. No reviews on any site will tell you that you get a permanent P0420.code. Want to return but unable to remove due to schedule and extra cost. Emailed TurboXS support with no reply. Looks good but I feel it was a mistake.

Great response
The car is more responsive with this Jpipe and the sound is nice.

Best bang for your buck!!!!!
The install wasn’t too bad and I did it on jacks and jack stands, I was completely blown away by the difference not too mention not having to worry about boost creep because it’s a highflow cat. Definitely worth the money and I’ve had mine in for over a year with no problems

Great J-Pipe
Great J-Pipe and the price made it even more attractive. The sound is amazing with an Invidia N1 Dual cat back. Nice deep sound, and not that loud when cruising around...but nice and loud when you really open it up. I don't really get any backfires / Pops...which I'm happy about. I can't comment on install since it was none at a professional shop. Would defiantly recommend!!

10/10 would recommend
So, do yourself a favor and get the Grimmspeed OEM hardware kit for the studs that’ll back themselves out of the turbo and the 2.5” to 3” adaptor (if you’re using your factory mid-pipe) along with some PB Blast and you’ll be golden on the install. Just have some patience.

Very good downpipe!
I had 2 nuts seize on the turbo studs. That was a paaaaaain in the butt. But besides that, the rest of the installation was fairly easy. The only downside was that the front O2 sensor was a little far to plug in. So I had to unscrew the harness just to make it reach and then ziptie the wiring to the heat shield, at least until I get an O2 sensor with a longer cable. Besides the pains with installation, the car sounds amazing. I was going for sleeper sounds which this totally does the job. You can hear turbo spools but it's not overly loud. I'm running with stock catback and AEM intake (purchased Grimspeed adapter to fit to stock catback). You can feel that the car just wants to go now. Getting some pretty good torque even in 5th and 6th gear.

Great Product!
This is worth the price. Easy to install ( minus that stubborn stud nut on the top right), everything fitted together nicely, and it sounds amazing. Goes great with my Cobb accessport and Cobb intake!
