Perfect
By Rh February 25, 2023Easy to install, took me some time because if didn’t have the right tools. Need 1/2” wrench +. 10 mm socket with drive ratchet. Not to much space to do it

Works great but a pain to install
By Josh August 29, 2022I have a 2021 WRX with stock brakes and this made a difference in how they feel. The initial bite is sooner and feels more firm. I would buy it again but the installation was a bit of a pain in the butt due to the lack of space.

Slides right in

Improved pedal feel, poor fitment
By Ash February 26, 2022Pedal feel improves a bit under hard braking. No difference for light braking. Needs to be paired with stainless brake lines for best results. Main issue: shape does not follow contours of strut tower perfectly & sheet metal is slightly under tension.

Good, not great
By Ash November 26, 2021Sturdy & easy to install. Hold wrench between fore & index fingers for the middle rear bolt if your hand doesn't fit. The pedal feel improves slightly at the bottom of pedal travel. For light braking it doesn't improve the mushy pedal. SS hoses & pads might work better for that.

Fixed Noise
By Alexey February 12, 2020This is must have on 15+ STI! I had cracking/clicking noises from my brake pedal occasionally since I got the car brand new. Noises got worse over time. Somebody recommended me to try the brace. I figure you can't go wrong with torque solutions and the price is better than other alternatives. This piece completely fixed all noises and made brake pedal feel way more smooth! Install took about 15-20 minutes, did not need to remove anything else. There's not too much space, but I managed it with just 1 deep 10mm socket/ratchet, ratcheting 10mm wrench, and 13mm regular wrench.

Great pedal feel
By AJ September 16, 2017This install wasn't as bad as other have made it out to be. A u-joint socket makes this install cake. The pedal feels great after the install and after many hard breaking events the brace hasn't moved a bit. Great initial mod for any circumstance!
