Best bang for your buck short throw shifter out there!
By Stephen October 19, 2022The short throw shifter makes such an huge improvement to the shifting! Installation can be a bit tricky when removing and attaching it to the shifter cables, but would recommend having some help so your not just sitting there getting frustrated.

lack of instruction
By Meh July 25, 2022First off this is a nice product it is built nicely. The packaging sucked it was just thrown in some bubble wrap no labels or instructions at all. I started the install and everything went smooth coming out. The snap ring for the reverse lock out is very cheap. I installed it back into my car and it was not centered instead of being in the 3rd and 4th gear gate it is centering in the 5th and 6th gear gate. It completely bypassed my reverse lockout. I stopped messing with it around 11pm after a few hours of trial and error. I am going to adjust the shift cables and see if that solves the problem. I would say spend the extra money and get the COBB STS just for the fact of coming with instructions and better packaging. Overall this will do in a pinch but I will be upgrading to a nicer quality one down the road. It may be user error but I struggled hard with this product.

LOVE this thing
By Stephen June 5, 2018I installed this with the short throw adapter so my review will be including the feel and throws with said kit. I love this kit and was pretty easy to install. Didn’t take me too long and I didn’t have a lift. After install the throws were very very short and crisp and clean one of my favorite mods. Now every time I get into a stock wrx I feel like the throws are miles long. Makes the car much more fun to drive.
