I just installed this on my 2015 STi. I used the 9 pop clips to hold it on. I had to drill holes but there are indents on the lip so you know exactly where to drill. The only one I had to measure was on the side of the bumper but the other 7 just drill and pop those c-clips in.
Good quality but installation was not straight forward, wrx '18
The piece its self is great, looks like it is high quality and is pretty sturdy, I would recommend this for anyone just know that the install is not straight forward Some things first, don't expect to use the OEM pop clips or the hardware that comes with. Go out and get yourself about 9 bolts and nuts and 18 washers that are slightly larger than what comes with the lip. The 3 middle mounting points you can reach the other side from behind the lower grill. The 4 points, 2 on each side below the fog lights are harder to get to but its not impossible. You'll need to drill the holes out on the lip which I wish it would have came predrilled given the price you are paying. And also cut out part of the splash guard for the middle mount point to fit correctly. The last change to install is you will have to drill out a new hole in your bumper on each side near the wheel well because the hole on that side doesn't line up with anything preexisting.
