ELIMINATE WHEEL HOP WHILE IMPROVING THE HANDLING
These are the SPL Rear Traction Arms, and they have been designed to increase the suspension and chassis stability and the response by eliminating the bushing deflection under hard acceleration and braking. This will ultimately reduce the wheel hop under hard launches, and are ideal for those of you with larger power levels, or who enjoy participating in high-performance driving events or general spirited driving.
SPL invested a lot of emphasis on the development of these traction arms as these are made using billet 6061-T6 construction. The main arm is slotted to allow the use of pinch bolts with SPL's 360-degree rotating clamps on their exclusive double adjuster, which is comprised of electroless nickel-plated 410 Chromoly. The hardware features blue-anodized titanium which provides more reduction in unsprung weight while prohibiting corrosion. The titanium hardware offers quick and easy adjustments without compromising strength. Additionally, these traction arms feature 3-piece FK bearing rod ends that have a Teflon liner to provide a quiet operation, low friction, and smooth articulation while eliminating bushing deflection under load. The PTFE liner is chemically bonded to the inner diameter of the race, and offers a very high load carrying capacity, and has great dynamic wear characteristics. A great suspension upgrade for enthusiasts who want improved handling on their daily driver or weekend show car, and certainly effective for those of you with purpose-built race cars or rally cars.
