OLM / Morimoto Split Kit Bi-Xenon HID Headlight Retrofit Kit

OLM's split kit combines an affordable H1 HID kit with Morimoto's precision projectors and vehicle specific mounting brackets. Out of the dark and into the light. That's the goal of this kit. Put the light exactly where you need it. This is a great upgrade for any WRX base or premium model. The Retro-Quik kits bring us closer to a plug and play option with its brackets that allow you to mount the new projectors without cutting.

Retrofitting: This has never been so easy! Designed to be a "bolt-on" upgrade for the 2015+ WRX, the OLM / Morimoto Split Kit system uses laser cut brackets made of military-grade G10 Fiberglass to adapt high-performance projectors in place of the de-tuned stock units. Here, there is no need to worry about alignment, major cutting, drilling, glue, etc. Out with the old and in with the new!

Morimoto H1 7.0 Projectors: Let's keep it simple and make a list of everything new about the 7.0. The optically clear lens. The 7-signed metal lens holder. The side-push bi-xenon solenoid mechanism. The die-cast radically curved cutoff shield. The foreground limiter. The reflector bowl. The IR, high-temp resistant reflector finish. The threaded shaft and it's precision and added length. The results! The beam is wider. The distribution of light more proper. Your ability to see is better.

Includes OLM ballasts, ignitors, bulbs, and HID relay.

NOTE: This kit comes with WRX specific hardware to mount the projectors. Includes 100mm housing caps for sealing the rear of the headlights.

Optional Item

RetroRubber - If you do not have spare butyl sealant in hand, RetroRubber or other butyl sealant is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The OEM sealant may not do a good job of resealing the headlight! TRS RetroRubber can be stretched to the proper length and width to fit the headlight casing channel.

This video documents the retrofitting process. The kit shown was BEFORE custom brackets were available. This kit includes them to BYPASS cutting the housing and utilizes H1 bulbs instead of D4S.


It is not recommended that you touch the glass portion of the bulb for any reason. Oils from your hands can cause the bulb to shatter once it heats up. Handle the bulb by its base only.
