This simple kit allowed you to darken the sidemarkers mounted inside the headlight housings. There are two choices depending on how much orange you want to knock out.
This version provides an eyebrow on the top of the lamp.
NOTE: This does work with the 2018+ WRX Limited / STI headlights. Sold as a pair (left/right).

Version 2 Headlight Overlays
This simple kit allowed you to darken the sidemarkers mounted inside the headlight housings. There are two choices depending on how much orange you want to knock out.
The difference between this version and the original is the amount of coverage on the headlight. For customers that do not have Limited headlights, this version darkens the top portion of the lamp like an eyebrow.
INSTRUCTIONS
Simply clean your sidemarkers and upper area of your headlight before application. Wet installation is highly recommended. Either use water soapy water (drop of Dawn mixed with water). Start at the corner closest to the wheels of the vehicle and work your way toward the thinner part of the overlay. Use your fingers (recommended), a felt squeegee, or credit card (if plastic wrap in paper towel to prevent scratching). A hair dryer is handy to form the vinyl where ever you need it to go and increase adhesion. It will encourage the water underneath the vinyl to dry. Allow to dry for 24-48 hours.
Once completely dry, they will hold up in automatic car washes and against most power washing.

Wish it was darker.
By Diddy August 12, 2018Got the dark smoke. I like these better than the v1 version that was sent to me the 1st time i tried this mod. Putting it on was simple if you have experience doing tint. Im overall satisfied, but i will add a layer of tint on the head lights. Jus to darken it up some more.

Quick easy mod
By ALAN May 25, 2018Headlight overlay looks great once installed. Contour of the lights was a little hard to figure out. Overlay was not cut 100% to match up easily with light. Had to adjust a few times before applying in final location.
