Is it really carbon fiber?
Looks to be plastic with carbon fiber pattern, or at the very most carbon fiber reinforced plastic. But, it’s certainly not 100% carbon fiber. Also, the STI logo is vinyl. I’m going to get some clear 3m vinyl to put over it so it doesn’t mess up due to road wear. I’d give it a 7/10. Would have higher if it were real carbon fiber.

Wrong Size for 18+
I bought this for my 2020 STi, and it’s too big for the notched space on the bumper for the license plate. If I were to attach this, it would stick out on either side of the plastic piece that is made for the plate. I will basically have to cut it to the right size to use it or else it will look stupid, and part of the backing won’t be making contact with anything. I wish I would have caught it before buying, but even the photo on Subispeed shows the product on a Levorg, which isn’t even a US model. This is most definitely not for 2018+ STi. Not to mention the fact that the STi logo is basically just a sticker on top of the flat carbon fiber plate. Probably cost $2 to make the whole thing. Super disappointed. Even more disappointed to see there is basically no way to return it, so I just wasted $40.

Great start for my new STI
Product looks great. Simple install. Received product very fast. just purchased 2018 STI. I am overwhelmed by the amount of items available through Subispeed. Can't wait to place my next order.

I made it better.
So this product comes out of the package with double sided 3M on the back of it....the problem is, is that the 3M separates from the carbon. I noticed that while having it on the car the 3M stuck great to the car (as usual) but the carbon had almost completely separated from the 3M to the point to where the delete had almost fallen off. So to fix this, I drove to Lowes, bought a couple screws and screw anchors to put in the holes in the bumper, and carefully measured and drilled through the carbon. The outcome was very worth it and looks even better than before! It should come out of the box like this.
