Worth the struggle

Getting the old rotors off and these ones on wasn't too hard, but the hardware for the brakes pad themselves honestly took me about the same amount of time to install. In the end it was worth the struggle for the upgrade, braking power is increased tremendously and if it wasn't for these I would have possibly crashed when someone ran a red light and almost got tboned.

Struggle with the new hardware
By Chaplain February 18, 2022Once the product was received (it was back ordered), installation was complicated by attempting to use the new stainless steel hardware. Discovered using the OEM hardware allowed the brake pads to slide in to the mounting bracket easily. Would recommend the OEM hardware, if it is in good shape. Otherwise, the installation went well. Very pleased with the performance and look. Also, recommend using the screw method for removing OEM rotors. I would recommend this product, while cautioning about using the new hardware.

SS hardware a challenge!
By Chaplain February 15, 2022Once I received the back order, I was excited to install it. However, trying to use the SS hardware proved to be VERY FRUSTRATING. It did not allow enough clearance for the brake pad to be inserted into the mounting bracket and would not clip into the bracket. So, I had to try to hold the hardware in place while attempting to insert the brake pad. Eventually, gave up and used the OEM hardware. Would suggest doing so unless the OEM hardware is too far gone. Once installed, very pleased with the improved grip, stopping power and look.

Hardware a challenge
By Chaplain February 15, 2022After receiving the back order, I was excited to replace my OEM brakes and rotors. Overall, it was a fairly easy installation. However, the stainless steel hardware made the job VERY FRUSTRATING due to its not allowing enough clearance to insert the brake pads into the mounting bracket. After MANY attempts to get it to work, we used the OEM hardware and had no problem. Besides the new hardware not allowing the brake pad to be placed in the bracket, it did not snap into place. So, you are left trying to hold it in place while trying to insert the brake pad. I would recommend NOT using the new hardware unless the OEM hardware is too bad to use. Installation time was extended due to this aggravation. Once installed, the brakes provide good grip and stopping power! Look great, too!
