FITMENT NOTES:

• This product is not currently compatible with the Killer B Oil Pickup Spacer which is used with the Killer B Oil Pans. Please use the IAG Oil Pickup Spacer
• Compatible with EJ20 engines equipped with the 2.5L oil pan
• Compatible with all Subaru EJ25 STI engines
• The IAG Oil Baffle does not work with the Moroso oil pans or pickups

The IAG Performance V2 Subaru WRX/STI Oil Pickup will replace the OEM unit that is failure-prone, which could lead to a catastrophic engine failure. What happens is that the OEM pickup will crack, and it will end up sucking in air instead of oil, which will lower the oil pressure. The IAG Performance replacement is stronger and thicker. This is due to the 100% stainless steel construction with a flange that is machined from 3/8" stainless steel to mate with the block and is sealed with a Viton O-ring. 

The IAG Oil Control Baffle and Windage Tray System have been designed to limit the potential blow-by and this prevents oil starvation in the Subaru WRX/STI EJ engine under high-RPM and high G-force driving conditions. Through the use of Viton one-way flapper valves on the baffle and louvers on the windage tray, oil is prevented from reentering the upper crankcase area and is directed down into the oil pan to ensure plenty of supply to the oil pickup. IAG's integrated two-piece oil control baffle and windage tray system works seamlessly with the IAG oil pickup but will work with other oil pickups as well. 

With these components installed, oil control is optimized greatly for the EJ's horizontally opposed engine which is critical for normal operation, but especially necessary when engines are modified for higher performance. Keeping the oil in the pan area so that the pickup has a constant supply of fresh oil to feed the oil pump is imperative for a healthy engine.
