Smooth but still gets feedback from road
I am new to doing self installs, so I had help from a friend and this was still a time consuming install. Removing the tophats on the old suspension and transferring it to the Teins was a big pain. That was probably the biggest challenge. But once we got the ball rolling with removing all the bolts and such, it was fairly simple. I just wish that there was more information on what to set bolt torques to. Had a hard time finding the information online and from videos. Lots of conflicting information about correct torques. But onto the suspension. The ride feels much better than stock, possibly because my OEM suspension was done and I would get more jarring feelings from any bumps and dips in the road. With these on though, you can still feel the road and the bumps, which is good for the feedback, but it doesn't jar you. All in all I'd say they are worth the purchase. They are inexpensive and good for daily driving to say the least. I have no pushed my car in them so I can't speak to heavy cornering and hard turns...yet.
