All GP1 rotor sets come in pairs. Sparta Evolution's GP1 brake rotors are engineered to endure extreme conditions and undergo stringent quality inspection procedures. All Sparta Evolution GP1 brake rotors are manufactured utilizing our GX 3.0 alloy to maximize wear resistance and heat cycling capabilities. Each brake rotor is mill-balanced to meet or exceed strict OE tolerances and is manufactured to ISO/IATF 16949 quality standards.
Sparta's GP1 brake rotors feature an OEM vent design for optimal cooling and strength and designed to meet the specific requirements for each vehicle. Our patented thermal window (TW3) slot pattern assists with better outgassing and deglazing of the brake pads that contribute to improved initial pad bite and fewer pad resin deposits that can lead to disc thickness variation (DTV). The slot pattern helps to provide more stable temperatures throughout the brake rotor. As we finish the manufacturing of the GP1 brake rotors, we machine finish our brake rotors to a Ra of 1.8 or less. The benefit of this, is that it helps in the pad and rotor bed in and the brake rotors are guaranteed to run true. Other brake rotor suppliers opt for a double disc grind finish because they cannot get the machine finish to match our tight tolerances. To finish off, our GP1 brake rotors have an anti-corrosive protection on the hat and rotor outer diameter to withstand rust and corrosion.
