This is how the Forester XT should have come from the factory. These LED DRL housings replace the upper faux vents in your front bumper. Wire them up with your low beams / parking lights or other accessories to get the look you want, when you want it.
Give your vehicle a premium makeover with this simple modification.

the DRLs aren't as advertised. instead of a clear white, the emit a light blue color - was really disappointed as it makes it look quite tacky and I was expecting it to be exactly as it is in the pictures posted..

No bumper removal required!
Not sure if the other reviewers had an older version of this drl or not but I was able to pop the old plastic covering off and pop these right in in their place. They are very secure and there was no need to remove the bumper to access anything. I do have a 2018 Forester XT so maybe that's a difference? They don't come with wiring instructions or any instructions at all so that part is up to you.

Amazing
With people talking about taking off the bumper I just had them done by a Subaru specialist shop in town. They look so good. I thought it was going to look potentially cheesy like the led 'strips' on new Nissans but even standing in front of the bumper it looks pretty much like a solid line. Not quite as uniform as the LED C lights on new Subarus but definitely can bridge the gap between your Forester and a brand new one. I think this is the best aftermarket light option and it adds a lot of character to the car.

Not plug and play
To get these in requires alot of trimming between the bumper and the right led drl... the left side fits better than the right... if they snapped in would be a dream... once in they look nice..

These look great!!
I am not much of a 'wrencher' so I took them to a qualify car audio shop to have them installed. They first showed me with them just snapped in, but they were loose and might pop out. The decision was made to remove the front bumper and install correctly. Now they look factory. Great addition to my 2015 Forester XT
