Looking to save weight and gain some rumble? The Subispeed Forester Axle Back is a great way to do it!
These are made in house here in Des Moines, IA. Made with Tig welded T304 stainless steel pipes. These are a replacement for the two factory baffled mufflers. Hardware and everything you need is included.

Decent mod for some extra noise.
By Tony March 1, 2022This muffler delete will certainly give you a nice sounding cold start and idle. Unfortunately, it has a lot of low-end drone and with the CVT you have less control as to where your RPM's are unless you're in "manual" mode. The FA20DIT is also notorious for it's raspy tone in mid-high RPM's and when you floor it, it literally sounds like a garbage disposal. It was around $300 when I purchased it, but at it's current price of $430, I can't recommend it. If Subispeed is increasing the price, they should just incorporate some mufflers to make it a much more refined package.

One of the easiest modifications I've ever done.
By Rachel June 4, 2021It took me 20 min....that's it. I hardly had to adjust them afterwards. The sound is great too. Not too loud but enough to show its not a normal Forester. I'm really happy with this purchase.

Looks and sounds nice!
By Janelle Ohh February 11, 2021Went with the Subispeed axle back because of the burned tips and because I didn't want it to sound too loud - judging from the video on this website. The left side is touching the bumper and we haven't got around to adjusting it yet. We didn't even need to lift the car (guess because of the sloping of our driveway). Everything bolted on easily. I paired mines with a WRX mid pipe and wowzers! The cold start is obnoxiously loud - I love it! Mahalo Subispeed!

Picked this over Nameless because of the burned tips! The left side is touching the bumper - haven’t tried to readjust it yet. Bolt on application and didn’t even need to raise the car - guess because of our sloping driveway. Awesome quality and hot looking product!
