Out of StockFTspeed's Catted UEL header is ready to get rid of that notorious torque dip that plagues the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ. Made in the USA from 304 Stainless steel and tig welded at every corner then a powder coated finish to finish it off.
The exhaust runners are 1.75" in OD and flow into a 4 to 1 merge collector that exits into a 2.5" OD catalytic converter which mates to the factory over pipe or any aftermarket over pipe that is in the factory location.

FTspeed Catted Unequal Length Header
FTspeed 's Catted UEL header is ready to get rid of that notorious torque dip that plagues the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ. Made in the USA from 304 Stainless steel and tig welded at every corner then a powder coated finish to finish it off..
The exhaust runners are 1.75" in OD and flow into a 4 to 1 merge collector that exits into a 2.5" OD catalytic converter which mates to the factory over pipe or any aftermarket over pipe that is in the factory location.
The stock under tray will bolt right back up after installation, making sure you can still protect the cars underbelly, as well.
Quality Improvement
Our catted UEL header is a simple bolt on install that gains 18ft lb. of torque and 12HP in the infamous "dip". Peak power is up 14HP and 5ft lbs of torque with no ECU tuning. Unlock even more with a tune. No CEL, as well, for those who wish to not stare at a light on the dash. No CEL is on a stock car with no other mods. If you have other parts you still need a tune.

FT86SF UEL = 13.0lbsEach header is built to order. Due to the hand made nature of this header lead times can vary depending on current work load. Current lead time is 1-2 weeks if status shows "ships from factory". We do our best to stick as close as possible to these dates.

- Lifetime Warranty (original owner only) against cracks or other defects in metal and weld quality. The CAT is void of any warranty claims as this unit can be damaged from HIGH EGT's on bad tunes.

The guys at Everyday driver are up at altitude for this video (~4500 ft). They run a baseline dyno on their FR-S and then install an FT-86 SpeedFactory catted header and V1 catback exhaust. Includes before and after dyno / drive commentary.

Love it!
Fit and finish was absolutely fantastic and I finally got that rumble that I love so much. Driving around with that torque dip virtually gone is amazing! It completely changes the car. Highly recommend to anyone going the catted UEL direction. And a big thing for me is that the car does not become raspy at all rather it has a nice deep and throaty tone.

Good looking manifold
Purchased this Bronze coated header in August 21. Delivery time was somewhat as promised 6-8weeks to Finland. Got the car with catless header so I was looking for a catted one and this seemed to be best options on the market. Quality looks nice and fitment was spot on. I have to reduce a couple of points from the installation part. Especially two bolts close to the catalytic converter were almost impossible to torque up to specs. Needed some special tools to access with torque wrench. I'm not sure if the headers or size of the converters vary in production but those were not showed exactly in any instructions/Ftspeed videos. Also it would be nice to know some specs of the catalytic converter, e.g. the CELL amount. Time will tell how the CAT will hold on. Overall satisfied with the purchase so far. Gives nice touch to the exhaust sound as well.

the sound!!!
So as the title says, The sound!!! it is AMAZING to my ears. Definitely sounds like a Subaru now, Had catbacks installed before getting this and in retrospect wish id gone in the opposite order. The performace gains are pretty real also, atleast for me running OFT/e85/intake and catback. Now with that being said, I will add that it does not CURE the torque dip but it defitely makes it less noticable. Definitely happy with the bronze finish, this part looks great from in the hood and under. Id recommend this part to my friends 100%. On closing here, Id like to mention how exact this part fits in with a stock over pipe. Theres literally no messing around tryin to get stuff align. TRUE BOLT ON that even amateurs can probably handle.

The subby rumble you dream of!
Finally got to install these and the nameless catted over/front pipe. Granted I do have a lift so it was stupid easy, the entire job took less than 2 hours. Very impressed with the quality of everything, ease of install and that legendary Subaru rumble. The ONLY complaint I have on the entire job was the fact that the ceramic coating on the headers had some marks from a jig or vice it was assembled in, nothing functionally wrong or even visible unless your staring at the underside of the car.
