SPECS:

  • Designed with a high torque rating to sustain extreme conditions and race use
  • Features an aggressive puck-style spring-loaded disc to absorb the clutch and drivetrain vibration under drag, race, or rally use
  • The disc also features sintered iron and graphite impregnated ceramic construction
  • Includes South Bend's Race Engineered Pressure Plate that has been precision balanced to maintain a vibration-free operation at higher RPMs
  • Ideal for those of you with moderate upgrades and /or participate in racing or high-performance driving events
  • The engagement characteristics are considered to be abrupt which is normal for an aggressive clutch
  • Applications may vary, but this kit will also include a throw-out bearing, alignment tool, and pilot bearing for a complete kit

 

NOTES:

  • For those of you using this particular clutch for drag racing purposes, South Bend recommends a single mass steel SFI approved flywheel to be used for safety reasons
  • Some hydraulic systems may need enhancing for proper clutch separation

The South Bend Stage 4 Extreme Clutch Kit has been designed for those of you with moderate upgrades and who need the right disc and pressure plate combination to hold the power down. The Stage 4 Extreme Clutch Kit is considered to be one of South Bend's more aggressive clutch offerings, and feature's their Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate that has been precision balanced to maintain a vibration-free operation at higher RPMs and to provide a maximum plate load. The pressure plate is combined with an aggressive puck-style spring-loaded disc to absorb the clutch and drivetrain vibration under drag, race, or rally use.
