Sport, Pro, or Max. Stage Series LED pods are available at three different power levels. All options use high-intensity LED emitters, and TIR optics for unmatched focus and overall output. The Sport model uses high-intensity LEDs, and is the best bang for the buck you’ll find. The Pro model steps things up in a big way, with double the total power. Finally, the Max model is designed with cutting-edge automotive emitters, for both high power and extreme intensity. The Sport has a Candela of 10,600 while the Pro has 11,900 Candela. Making the Pro have a slightly higher light output.

Plug and Play

Thanks to custom-molded brackets, the SS3 Fog Light Bracket Kit can be installed on your ride in minutes. Simply remove your factory fog light assembly and ours will bolt right in its place! Wire adapters are included to connect the lights to your factory bulb sockets - no additional wiring needed!

Focused

Traditional optics like reflectors or simple lenses lose light internally and to glare, so not all of the light shines on target. Instead, the custom-engineered TIR optic in the SS3 collects all of the light from the LED, and directs it only where you need it, drastically reducing glare and improving total efficiency.

From there, while other options on the market lose as much as 10% of the light output shining through an outer lens, the custom-molded TIR optic in the SS3 serves as both the optic and main lens for greater efficiency and light output. Thanks to this innovative feature, when coupled with high-intensity LED chips, the total intensity of the SS3 is much greater than other LED pods using basic optics or reflectors with a standard outer lens.


SAE Compliant

All Stage Series beam pattern options were designed with optical simulation modeling, to shape the output in a highly-functional beam pattern.

  • SAE Driving is designed to supplement your high beams, but it’s great for general illumination as well. Rather than a traditional "spot" pattern, the Stage Series Driving pattern shines in an 18x8 degree spread, providing just enough width to fully illuminate the road ahead at high speeds.
  • SAE Fog provides an extremely wide field of view, with high-intensity output over an entire 80-degree spread. It serves as a great upgrade for any factory foglamp, and will fully illuminate the area in front of your vehicle. Choose your output color of cool white or yellow, which is often said to help cut through inclement weather.

When installed as a pair and aimed in accordance with your state's regulations, the Driving White pattern meets SAE J581 standard as a Driving/Auxiliary High Beam Light, and the Fog pattern meets SAE J583 standard as a Foglamp, for legal on-road use. Please check your local laws and regulations for aiming, installation, and applicability.

White or Yellow. All Stage Series LED pods are available in a cool white or selective yellow color. The white is a 6000K color temperature, which is a true white output, without any blue, and matches most factory LED lighting. The selective yellow is a 3000K color temperature, great for high contrast in poor weather or a distinctive look on the road.p

Sport or Pro. Stage Series LED pods are available at two different power levels. Both options use high-intensity LED emitters, and TIR optics for unmatched focus and overall output.     Fitment issues. Bad ass fog light set. But I only ran these fog lights for about 3 months. Due to the fact that the hardware that it came with was incomplete; I.e. missing screws to properly secure these lights. After 3 months they simply fell off during normal commute. I wrote a review about 2 years ago when I first bought these but clearly Subispeed filters out reviews and does not want negative reviews posted even tho they sold me a product that was not complete with hardware causing catastrophic failure. Excellent lights, poor hardware/support.

  2. Awesome lights, bad bracket design

    These lights were a MASSIVE improvement over the stock halogens. The lights cast super wide, great for seeing into your corners on late night mountain runs. Install wasn’t terrible. I was able to reach in through the fender liner even with 18” wheels with a good bit of sidewall. I didn’t realize that the wire adapters were for an H11 plug so I had to chop and solder the wires together. The brackets are poorly designed, as you cannot adjust the lights once they’re mounted, so it’s a long bit of trial and error until you get them just right. The lights are very heavy, which could be worrisome if your bumper isn’t mounted as solid as it is from the factory. With all that said they’re still likely the best fog lights on the market, nothing else compares to the output and reach of these lights.

  3. Great, but hokey install

    Great lights. Good install instructions included in the box. You will be thrilled with these bad boys. They do add weight to your car. They are probably 3x heavier than your super light OEM fogs. The OEM fogs are EASY to adjust the angle. There's a reason OEM products are typically superior. The DD fogs are not. If you tighten the mount to the foglight housing too much, you cannot adjust the angle without uninstalling them. That is the hokey part, because you don't want the mount to be loose or it will self adjust over bumps and vibration. Just keep that last bit in mind and everything will be fine.

  4. Good Light / Fitment Issues

    The quality and brightness of the lights are excellent. Though these do not fit properly on the 2020 WRX without modification. You are not able to angle them down enough because the black outer ring comes in contact with the bumper. This made the beam too high and I was blinding people. I ended up having to grind down the bottom of the ring flat so I could angle them correctly.

    Ended up taking my front bumper off to get these on. Installation was simple, and I had absolutely no gap at the bottom of the housing. The Pro White Driving lights are brighter than my high beams. The Illumination profile of my vehicle is INSANE. The full 180 degrees in front of you is lit, and visible! These are the only and last set of fogs you'll ever need.

  6. 10/10 Best Lighting Mod Period.

    10/10 Best lighting modification you can do to your car period for the dollar per performance. Preface: DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT follow 99% of guides. Almost all say to Remove the front bumper. DO NOT remove it. It is completely unnecessary for this product and makes the install much longer and can potentially break the clips on the sides of the bumper. Install Time: 60 min. for prep and cleanup, 30 min. for actual install (90 min total) Install: To install the product jack the car up or place the car on car ramps like I did. Use wood 2x4s to help the car on ramps if you have a front lip like I do. Then get under the car on a dolly and access the two splash guards directly under the fog light/bezels. There are 3 pop clips and 1 Philips screw/hex bolt. You can then peel back the plastic guard and access the bezel. The bezel is removed by 3 clips which can easily be pushed on by a long flat head screw driver. These 3 clips are located on the inside part of the grill. Even Subispeed shows the wrong way of removing and installing the bezels. Bezels are removed inside end first then the rest of the bezel pulls out straight and reverse to reinstall them. You can then go back on the outside of the car and carefully remove the bezel by hand. After that go back under the car and remove the two screw (philips) holding the stock fog light. The other two tabs are just slotted in. Unclip the lighting harness and remove the stock fog light. Then insert the two stock screws into the new assembled ss3 pro fog lights in the bracket prior to putting the lights in as the bracket holes are pretty tight on the screw and the screw needs to go complete flush with the head. You can then insert the new fog light from under the car and insert the tabs and screw in the new light. Then plug it in. Test to make sure the light works and start the process with the other side. Once both lights are in and working do any final adjustments before butting the guards under the car back on and finally inserting the bezel back in place. Final Thoughts: If you own a base wrx or limited that doesn't have any kind of headlight upgrade these are the best way to fix how bad the stock headlight lumen/light throw really is without buying expensive new headlight assemblies in the 1,000 dollar range. I had a lot of trouble being able to see at night without my high beams on which is dangerous. This completely fixes that issue if you buy the ss3 pro white driving type. On top of that I work in the landscape design field and deal with exterior landscape fixtures. There is no light that has a case design that will not get water in them. Even the Morimoto lights high quality as they are eventually WILL get moisture in them the way they are design. High end exterior lights now a days use the one piece design like diode dynamics is using in this product if the company knows what its doing. This fixes the issue. This product is also an aluminum body which is a big deal in the lighting world. All in all this is a very high quality product and probably the best fog light on the market right now for the wrx/sti. I cannot recommend this enough to anyone that owns a Subaru wrx or sti that would like to be able to see better at night without blinding people. Subispeed customer support was great in getting these to me even during a winter storm. Thanks as always to the great team and hope this helps people trying to figure out a way of addressing the stock lighting issue these cars come with.

    Switched from the morimoto xb fog lights because I wanted more light output, and a more vibrant yellow color. These were exactly what I was looking for. Clean cutoff line, and very bright. They exceeded my expectations. The build quality is great. Install was simple and only took 20 minutes. Highly recommend to everyone.

    These are by far the best lights I have ever had. They cover more than my high beams and are almost as bright. You don't miss a thing. I highly recommend them.
