OLM A1 Aggressive Carbon Fiber Full Replacement Hood Scoop
Hand Laid Dry Carbon Fiber
This is a full hood scoop replacement. You will need to remove your OEM hood scoop which will require popping clips from underneath the hood and removing a few nuts on the front side of the scoop. Comes with 3M for a secure fit along the edges. Once installed, we recommend using a silicon sealant around the scoop. This will seal it well and no water will get under the scoop.
NOTE: Always clean the back of the hood scoop and the hood area with rubbing alcohol before starting the installation. We recommend re-installing the black plastic trim under the hood once you are done. This will help direct air to the intercooler.

Fading
I had it on few months and it started to fade and crack

It’s nice
I like it a lot but I do think the fitment could be better. Problem with hood scoops is that they never really fit flush like oem ones do. This one IMO fits JUST good enough to look good. If the back and sides of the scoop were literally any bigger then it would get that oversized cheap look. It’s definitely real carbon. The back of the scoop when installed is a little bendy but that shouldn't be an issue anyway. Weighs almost the exact same as the OEM but feels just the tiniest bit heavier. I’m talking ounces. Overall so far I really like it and I recommend it.

Looks Great, could be better
Looks Great on the car, did take some manipulate to get the top of the scoop to line up with the lines of the hood properly. Does not come with any 3M even though the description says it does. Requires 3 bolts beyond the 2 that are on the OEM scoop for 5 in total, it would make more sense if it came with this necessary hardware, at the price it costs they can afford to include 3 bolts.

Almost Perfect
Just a couple things would make this scoop perfect! Plan on re-drilling and tapping the bolt threads. Mine were filled with resin and debris from the manufacturing process. The other issue I had was with the screen over the mouth. A tab on the hood must fit between the top of the screen and the scoop. I had to carefully bend the screen down to allow the scoop to slide over the tab on the hood. The only other thing I would have liked is a small adhesive strip around the the back and sides of the scoop. It fits very tight and solid without it but would have been a nice “peace of mind” item.

A bit of work but looks great in the end
The hood needed a little bit of work before it fit properly. I needed to shave a bit of the under section of the scoop (not viewable) for a clean fit and had to purchase wider 3M adhesive tape for the underside of the hood (closest part of the scoop to you when standing in front of the car) due to it sticking up from very slight factory imperfections. All of that aside, it was stuff that was easy to address (albeit annoying) but in the end, it looks great.

I did not get any 3m tape with it and the way it fits is so off. Did they not try it on a car first to see how it fits. I got a quarter inch Gap in the front center and in the back on each side it sticks up 8 of a inch. Do not but this part. I have sticks from the ceiling to the car now trying to hold it down with silicone
