Cusco Brake Master Cylinder Brace

Details
This often leads to a mushy feeling in the brake pedal. One way to combat this is to use a brake master cylinder brace. This minimizes movement and increases brake pedal feel.
NOTE: We also sell the official 2014+ Forester master cylinder brace, however this updated product is easier to install.

Great Quality, Fits Perfect, Looks Great
By Tim W September 26, 2022Brace was easy to install with included hardware and pre-drilled and tapped holes in the car. Gets rid of soft brake feel and performs much better overall now. Definitely recommend to any wrx/sti or forester owner as a cheap, beneficial upgrade to your brakes.

Instant gradification
By Chun March 14, 2018Purchased a 17 Forester manual, and was like, these brakes are crap! Did some research and came upon the Cusco brake brace. After watching install videos between, Perrin and Cusco, I went with Cusco because the ease of the install. I couldn't be happier, you felt the difference right away! Car stop more confidently with less pressure. Although this part surely is much heavier than the Perrin I'm sure because it's made of steel.

Really like the pedal feel, and goes well with strut tower bars and rear sway bar
By Erin December 18, 2017Really helps stiffens up the brake feel and feels like it helps with the other suspension upgrades that I've done. Honestly, there really isn't a downside to this - I don't know why it isn't factory.

By Chan August 12, 2017Getting the bolts on the underside were a bit of a pain, but man was it well worth it. That spongy squish feeling was gone immediately. Plus, the Cusco blue is a nice accent to the engine bay.

Easy install, immediate effect!

Why isn't this stock?
By Stephen July 8, 2017Yes its a pain to install, grease up your hand so you don't get it stuck lol. The brake peddle goes from smoosh to solid and smooth in 30 mins with this piece that should have been stock.

One of the essential mods

Excellent piece
By Tim January 14, 2016Solid construction in brilliant Cusco blue. Probably the easiest install you can do for a performance gain. Better feel from the brake pedal. The difference isn't extreme, but it was enough for me to notice. I noticed performance to be better on my 2015 than with the brace for my 2004.

Should Come Stock on Vehicle

It helps to bring the stock pedal feel to a close to acceptable level cheaply and quickly. Quality part and easy install.
