Improves chassis response
Installed this on my 2021 sti and it improved the feel of the chassis a ton. It looks great in the trunk and you still have plenty of room for groceries or track supplies
Easy, looks great, and stiff!
Easy install. Dropped the rear seats down and pulled the lower and side carpet out. Removed the lower covers off the side trim that was held on by staples and trimmed my weatherTech trunk mat. Came out solid. Car feels amazing. Looking forward to more bracing and upgrading sway bars to really finish it up.
I initially started with the Cusco Front Strut brace and found immediate improvement in handling! in hard turns the frun end would cut in deeper to the apex of the turn and you could feel the back end was lacking in grip as a result. when i installed the Cusco rear cross strut brace that changed. My 2019 WRX has much better grip both front and rear, you can feel the car stay much more flat in a hard turn and its also a nice looking piece that doesnt eliminate much truck space! install was very easy (Im an airplane mechanic so this was nothing for me) just make sure you remember to re-tourque the shock tower nuts!!!! definitely getting more Cusco stuff to make my car grip like glue! 10/10
Cool, Simple and Effective
This mod was a simple install once you got the tedious task of removing the carpet and liners. I painted mine to match the neon Perrin strut brace for the front. The trunk liners do need trimming (see images below). The instructions are not in English and the images attached are of poor quality. It is a cool conversation piece. I have yet to track it to feel any difference. The placebo effect is evident!
