Looks nice from the side
Just installed this on my 2.5 Forester. Don't know if the 2.0 front suspension set up is the same or not, but I'm sure the Japanese spec is different. The side flange on the brace, bolts to nothing on my car, definitely would make a difference. Brace is substantially more robust and HD than the part it is replacing. Unfortunately you'll need to do a good amount of trimming to the under tray in order for it to fit. Even so you will be losing 2 mounting points for securing the screws of the tray. I myself have not done any trimming yet. If these braces get in the way of my skid plate, I guess I will be losing these braces.
