Cobb 3" Non-Resonated J-pipe and Intermediate Pipe

The COBB Subaru J-Pipe for the 2015+ WRX is a direct replacement unit which features full CNC mandrel bent 304 stainless steel construction, a high quality metal spun catalytic converter, and an adapter for use with the factory catback. All of these features combine into an excellent replacement for the power robbing factory unit! The COBB J-Pipe replaces what is traditionally referred to as the "downpipe" on previous Subaru vehicles. With the relocation of the turbocharger for the 2015+ WRX, the first section of exhaust no longer requires a downward turn but instead uses a sharp "j-turn" to route exhaust towards the back of the vehicle.

WHY?

The COBB Subaru J-Pipe replaces restrictive factory piping with full 3" stainless steel. By opening the diameter of exhaust flow coming out of the turbo, the COBB J-Pipe unleashes more power potential over the stock restrictive unit. WRX 6MT only.

FEATURES

  • 200 Cell Metal Substrate High Flow Cat
  • 3" 304 Stainless Steel Construction
  • CNC Mandrel Bent Tubing
  • Cat-Back Connection - 3" Flat Flange or Donut Adapter
  • Ready to Run with COBB OTS Maps

  1. Beautiful Craftsmanship

After spending way more time researching a J-pipe than I should have, I'm very happy I went with the Cobb. The two piece design makes installation very easy and the welds and quality are incredible. The non-resonated pipe is louder without a doubt than stock. However when cruising on the highway or through town at a higher gear it's silent. A negative is having to purchase the turbo studs and bolts because you're going to have issues getting the pipe off the turbo. It's not the easiest thing to say the least. However, Cobb included the adaptor to marry the pipe to the stock exhaust which is a nice bonus. The car is a different animal after the installation, even with only running a stage 2+ OTS map. Great job Cobb!
