Swift Spec-R Sport Springs were engineered with 3 characteristics in mind.
Modified ride height compared to Sport Springs to maximize optimal suspension geometry.Further increasing the spring rate to enhance overall performance. The increase in spring rate is based on the upper limits of the vehicles factory shock valving.Maintaining optimal comfort level for street use.
Spec R springs are wound with the same engineering and material as our sports springs. With the exception of stiffer rates and slight change in ride height; you can expect the same characteristics as our sports springs.

Handling
I paired B8's with these Swift springs on my 19 sti. Handling is way better than stock and the ride is much smoother than stock. You can really feel the difference on turn in, it's nice and flat, while grip is fantastic. The back rotates better now as well. The drop is right where I want it to be, no more wheel Gap and no sagging at the rear. I'll be adding some sway bars and LCA's next to be done with this phase of suspension upgrades.

Perfect for my needs
I had a set of Swift Spec R springs on my previous car, an Evo 8, for many years and was happy with them so I decided to get them for my new '18 STi. I was looking for springs with just the right drop that work with the stock shocks, and these fit the bill perfectly. The ride quality is just slightly stiffer than stock as expected. I'd definitely recommend these springs or the RCE Yellows.
