StopTech
StopTech Slotted Rotors (Front and Rear)
2013+ FR-S / BRZ
Details
Power Slot Slotted Brake Rotors for the 86 / FR-S / BRZ: Excessive heat can cause resins in your brake pad to vaporize or "outgas." As the brake pad wears, the used friction material turns into a fine dust. This boundary layer of heat, gas and dust builds up between the pad and rotor surfaces and inhibits performance.

Happy Purchase
Never done brakes before but watched enough videos to bump my confidence. I was surprised how easy it was to do. Even while taking my time I did the rears in a matter of just a few hours - from gathering tools, lifting the car, and back together. So there is that... for the rotors themselves. I've read some mixed reviews on how to 'brake' them in. I ended up going 30 mph to near stop several times in a row to try to wear the new pads (also Stoptech) evenly. Not sure if this was exactly right or not but since driving with them I honestly do feel a bit more bite on my stopping - just from the rear upgrade. Fronts are still stock rotors and pads. So I'm excited to get the fronts done with these and Stoptech's pads in the near future. Only possible negative... I did notice a bit more brake dust on my rear wheels. Not sure if this will be over the life of the pads or just the initial bunch of miles, but I enjoy washing my car so it really isn't the worst thing. Cheers!
