Constructed with 100% polyurethane on all four sides, this high flow "oil-free" OE replacement performance filter will outflow stock paper filter for improved horsepower and torque. Two layers of progressively finer mesh synthetic media provide maximum convenience and easy maintenance. Washable and reusable for multiple cleaning cycles, the tall open evenly spaced pleats provide excellent dust holding capacity for longer service cycle between cleanings. Integrated urethane bump seal insures tight, no leak seal over the life of the filter. NOTE: Will NOT fit 2018+ STI Type RA or 2019+ STI. This filter does fit 2018+ STI.

    This was a simple and much needed upgrade over the stock filter. It took me less than 2 minutes

    While its dimensions are identical to the stock filter, the rubber material it's made of is able to squeeze down a bit which you can feel when you snap the clips down. Mileage improved over Oem paper filter. Drivability is smoother over Oem filter. Some new is interesting. It's a slightly quieter, more wooshy than whistley, and the sound is present earlier n the Rd range. I found out that this is one of the filters that is using the Donaldson synthetic media (read Amsoil EAa nano), which is why I picked this particular one.
