A number of options are available to the Japanese market which aren't directly offered to US customers. Here are two optional shifter trim bezels which can be used on 2015 WRX CVT models.

One has a carbon fiber style design to it like the other interior trim pieces. The other comes in a simple piano black.

These are genuine, imported Subaru parts.

    Not sure why this doesn't come stock on the USDM WRX with the CVT transmission. Ties in much nicer with the existing faux carbon fiber trim on the dash. Looks especially great with the faux leather console. Now I just need the piano black lower steering wheel trim to finish it off.
