The Hella Supertone Horns feature a high-quality construction that give you Subie reliability in nearly any application. The horns feature an all-metal body with a black-coated finish that looks great and is resistant to corrosion. Despite their big outputs, the horns only pull 5.5amps each and work off your Subie’s 12v electrical system without issues. The grilles are likewise made of steel and are available in several different color options. A Must Have
By ggmredrum August 24, 2022Like in a previous review, the bolts are extremely tight and took awhile to brake loose. I got the bracket and the plug and play harness for 21 wrx which made it a breeze to install. The zip ties that were included were absolutely perfect to cable manage the wires. The plug and play harness I got does come braided but there is enough space to see positive and negative wires. I didn't use the rectangle piece that was bolted on the horn, I just installed the horns onto the bracket. Even though I got the blue horns to match the paint (sorta) It would be nice for it to be louder. It's a great A great product and we'll worth it.

Looks good but…
By Mikey March 5, 2022This hella horn is a must for all WRX/STI as it changes the looks of the car. I have the badgeless grille and this definitely improved it. However, the hella horn bracket(not the grimmspeed or aftermarket ones) nut is too tight and hard to remove! Whoever put this together probably emptied a whole threadlocker before tightening it. I end up not removing it and just installed it without the extended torque solution bracket I got. Will use it once I buy an impact wrench. The red color of the hella horn is off from one another. One looks brighter than the other one. Small issue that can be fixed easily by repainting. During installation, I followed one of the review here that says if the prongs are facing down, black (inside of the harness) goes to left then red to the right. I used the short wire of the harness for the left side then long wire for the right side. Overall happy with the product!

Loud!
By Steff September 17, 2017EASY install. I did forget to order the bracket, but I did hook them up and test them out. The most work was removing the bumper. Love how loud they are

Nice subtle detail
By MT12 April 22, 2017I bought the gold horns and they look amazing. Installation was easy, the hardest part was putting the bumper back on and since its not difficult that tells you how easy the install is. The horns are definately louder and to me these sound better than the sharptone.
