Subispeed USDM TR Style Sequential Taillights
2015-2020 Subaru WRX & STI
These are the first aftermarket tail lights available for the VA WRX / WRX STI. They are available in 4 great color choices and have a 2 mode turn signal with sequential light function built in.
NOTE: These are compatible with Diode's tail as turn harness. Instead of having an amber turn signal, you would use the inner red LEDs as a brake / turn signal.
NOTE: These are now Plug & Play. They also ship with load resistors to prevent hyperblinking. These units are outside of the casing to aide in preventing condensation build up.

Very Easy Installation
Headlights and taillights play a huge role in the overall look of the vehicle. While the 2015-2020 Subaru WRX & STI have some great styling, the door was still left open for a more aggressive aftermarket solution. Original design cues from the headlamps were taken and incorporated into the design. These are factory plug and play units for the 2015+ VA platform*. They are wired for US spec vehicles.

Nice but to bad
By Ciedric November 29, 2021Got these light with the STI I bought. Absolutely love them, but after almost two years the left indicator got broken LED’s. Seals are good, fitment is perfect. So overall good looking tails, but not sure about the durability.

Easy install with great look
By Kyle August 16, 2021Bought this with the matching OLM NB+R third brake light, Wow what a difference!!! No more Corolla look. Super easy install. 3 nuts either side, slide out old, slide in new, and tight nuts back down. Then just plug and test. On the back of each housing is a toggle(red) to turn off and on the sequential turn signals. Clean look, fitment is spot on, and no condensation issues after a few washes and storms. Thanks again Subispeed!!!!

jagged edges scratching paint
By mrlandon12 June 1, 2021i bought a 2021 STI one week ago and installed these taillights. i noticed some bad castings on the edges creating really sharp edges, two days later i noticed it has started chipping my paint from the jagged edges. i submitted a ticket to subispeed about what can be done (since its out of stock in the color i got i would probably just want to switch to the evolution taillights) will update based on customer service but so far these lights have me a bit frustrated chipping my brand new $44k car.

Easy install, look great, but....
By Nick December 7, 2020I installed these the day I got them. Super easy too install. Look great, work perfect. But.....there’s a huge condensation issue. I’ve looked up in multiple forums that’s this is a problem. Even with other “subiespeed” taillights not sure if this is a Quality manufacturing issue or just normal. But this is a major problem for the money you spend. Hopefully there is a counter active thing to fix this.

Nice but dont last long
By Rusty July 26, 2020I bought 2 sets of these and both had issues after the 1 year warrenty. im on tail light number 3 and now that one is out and cant get help from subispeed even though I spent 1500 so far on just tail lights. should last much longer than a year

poorly sealed, bugs got inside after 6 months
By Jason July 19, 2020I purchased these tail lights back in Dec. 2019 and in June i noticed 2 bugs were in each light (total 4 bugs) between the housing and the lens. There is no way into this space that I can see other than the seal. Since they were supposedly under warranty, I tried to get them replaced and Subispeed told me they won't do anything for me. The lights still work but if they are poorly sealed, I wonder for how long. Poor quality, customer service and integrity. I refuse to drive around with a growing nest for taillights so I'll have to replace them but I'm not risking my hard earned money on them again.

Best purchase
By Paul March 10, 2018I have ordered a lot of pieces from here and I even tried to install the C bars into my original taillights. But, I failed at that these were absolutely easier to install. If you’re not good with automotive electronic systems it is definitely worth the mine. Easy instal, great look, completely satisfied with the look worth every dollar.

WORTH THE WAIT

Much to my surprise, the instructions for this updated design (V2) stated that no additional wiring is required. I installed the lights in approximately 30 minutes with no stress or aggravation. They function as expected and compliment the car's design.

Stellar product, super straightforward install!
By Baker January 30, 2017Purchased in January of '17 and received the V2 version of the smoked dark tails, which were entirely plug and play and did not require an additional power wire. Product came in exceptional packaging with everything required and fitted nicely. Removing the old taillights was extremely straightforward using Subispeed's video as a guide, as was installing the new ones. In summary, they look absolutely incredible, work great, were easy to install, and worth the price! Very happy with another great product from Subispeed.
